Church and Ministerial Oversight Committee

  • This committee deals with issues regarding the care, encouragement, and welfare of pastors and local churches.

  • It assists proactively with conflict resolution, oversees pastoral discipline cases, and supports those considering a call elsewhere or who are temporarily without a call.

  • The committee is empowered to act as an ecclesiastical commission on behalf of the presbytery in specific circumstances, such as dissolving pastoral relations, conducting visitations to churches affected by disorder, or instituting judicial process.
